A priest, wearing a white robe with a green stole and a gold cross necklace, is sitting on a wooden bench inside a church. He is holding a small baby dressed in brown, sitting on his lap. The priest appears to be speaking or gesturing, and the baby is looking attentively towards him. Behind them, there is a purple potted orchid and wooden paneling on the church walls.

Pastor Pat

Reverend Patrick Kaley began his ministry at Troy Lutheran Church in January 2022, first as a seminarian intern and later as an ordained minister. Pr. Pat was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament on March 11, 2023. He has a deep love for moving the church outside the walls of our sacred buildings and into the brokenness of the world.

Pr. Pat holds a Master of Divinity from Wartburg Theological Seminary (Dubuque, Iowa), a Bachelor of Arts in Management & Leadership from American Military University, and three associate degrees.

Prior to seminary Pr. Pat served nearly thirty years as a law enforcement officer in Washington State.

Pr. Pat is married to his beloved wife, Angie, and together they have five adult sons and three precious grandchildren. He enjoys fly fishing as well as hunting deer and elk. His other hobbies include leatherwork and hand-tying flies.
