Who we are

Troy Lutheran Church is a faith community nestled in the Palouse region of northern Idaho and we are called by Christ to be an invitational, passionate community, seeking, loving, and serving all people as stewards of God’s creation.

What we believe

A silver chalice with an ornate base and a black stone engraved with the word 'FAITH' set on a white surface, with a few coins lying beside it, blurred warm background.

We are a church, within the Lutheran tradition, that confesses its belief in the Triune God: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe the Holy Scriptures (Old & New Testament) are the living cradle of Christ’s divine and human fullness, and the authoritative source that shapes our doctrine and nurtures faith as God’s gracious gift to all believers. We hold that we are saved by God’s grace through faith alone and we are then sent into the world free to love and serve our neighbors, as God in Christ loves us (Eph. 2:8-9, John 13:34).
